Accessing Copilot settings

To configure Copilot settings for a team:
  1. Open the Metadata icon in the left navigation bar.
  2. Select the Teams tab in the page header.
  3. Click on the team to open its metadata page.
  4. Click the Settings tab.
  5. Navigate to the Advanced subtab.
Only team admins can access and modify AI settings for their team.

Copilot settings

The Copilot settings section contains two configuration options.

Enable Copilot

Toggle Copilot features (including Copilot and Agents) on or off for the team.
  • Enabled: Copilot features are available to all team members.
  • Disabled: Copilot features are not available to team members.

Use data context in copilot

When enabled, sample data from pipeline runs is used to improve Copilot suggestion quality. The Copilot analyzes actual data patterns and schemas from your runs to provide more relevant suggestions.
  • Enabled: Sample data from runs improves Copilot suggestion quality.
  • Disabled: Copilot suggestions are based on general patterns without data context.
